سأظل اكتب عن السلام

حتى يتحقق في الوجود السلام

أو أن ينقضي العمر وتجف الأقلام

وساجعل من ذاك القلم سيفا

لانتصر به على اتباع الحرب

وكل الاقذام

وسأرسم به زهور المحبة

لاحقق به كل الأحلام

وساجعل منه سراجا

يضي دروب العالم

لتشرق شمس السلام

I will still write about peace

Until peace is achieved

Or that the age expires and the pens dry out

And I will make of that pen a sword

To win against the war

And all the slurs

And I will draw love flowers with it

To fulfill all dreams

And I will make a lamp

The paths of the world shine

The sun of peace shines
